Subordinate States of Subcontinent

How did Pakistan come into being and how did the partition of India take place? What happened during the struggle for independence in the areas under British rule in India? A lot of information is available about it. In terms of area, it covered one third of India and in terms of population, a quarter of the population lived here.

A complete story can be written about the atrocities and injustice done to the Muslims by the British during the Partition of India. In connection with the annexation of the Nawabi states by the alliance of the Hindus and the British, a very wrong attitude was adopted with Pakistan.

Lord Mountbatten was appointed Viceroy of Delhi on 22 March 1947. He was not interested in the independence and sovereignty of the Muslims of the subcontinent but was sent to end the demand for partition of India by the Muslims of India.

But under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, he could not stand in front of the Muslims who were addicted to united freedom. History bears witness to the fact that the British, by merely demonstrating their anti-Muslim and anti-Muslim rhetoric, sided with the Congress and benefited more than the Hindus, while depriving them of their legitimacy in opposition to the Muslims.

He did not carry out the plan of Partition of India in accordance with its spirit. But by supporting the Hindus and protecting their interests, he harmed the Muslims.

However, on July 21, 1947, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Italy, announced in Parliament that with the end of British rule, British treaties with Indian states would be terminated and these states would be re-liberated and would have full power to decide their future, from India or Pakistan. Affiliate with one or maintain your independent status.

Lord Mountbatten and the Congress had conspired and decided that the annexation of independent and sovereign states should be done with the Indian Union at all costs. In violation of the Indian Union, the Rajputana states tried to form a united front in mutual interest. Neighbouring domains can't be taken for granted under any circumstances, so think carefully and decide which one is best for you to avoid further problems.

In this regard, the example of Kashmir is in front of everyone where the Muslim population was in the majority and according to the formula of partition and the right of Kashmiris to self-determination, it had to join Pakistan but unfortunately its ruler was a Sikh Hari Singh Dogra. He sold only Rs. 75 lakhs in Nanak Shahi. Before the Sikhs, there was a Muslim government here.

After the fall of the Mughal Empire, Ahmad Shah Durrani annexed the state of Kashmir to his government, which was soon occupied by the Sikhs. In India-Friendship, the British provided him with territories through which the Indian border was connected to Kashmir. Thus, the British and the Hindus conspired and illegally occupied Kashmir, the lifeblood of Pakistan.

Apart from this, Junagarh and some other states decided to join Pakistan and India also influenced their decisions. The state of Junagadh consists of 4,000 miles and is only two miles from Karachi by sea. Nawab Mahabat Khanji's government was here at the time of Partition of India. He signed the document of annexation with Pakistan on 15th September 1947. India was very upset about it and when Mahait Khanji came to Karachi on 9th November 1947, he invaded Junagadh and occupied it by force.

It is almost 68 years since the illegal occupation of Junagadh by India. Pakistan linked the issue with Kashmir and presented it to the United Nations in February 1971 but no result has been found so far. Until August 15, 1947, West Pakistan included Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Sarhad Province and the Tribal Areas.

The state of Bahawalpur was divided into three districts, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Rahim Khan, on the banks of the Sutlej River and Sindh. Chitral is a district of Pakistan. Formerly known as the State of Chitral, it was located at the foot of the Hindu Kush Mountains. There were also written agreements with Pakistan regarding interests and powers, but they became part of Pakistan unconditionally.
